You\’re sipping on a cool Efusjon Energy Drink while sufing the net…desperately seeking the real skinny on this fledgling company, the Efusjon Energy Club. Sure, you\’re enjoying the taste of the drink, but are you enjoying the aftertaste left in your mouth by the company?
Will Efusjon, This Baby MLM, Grow Up To See It\’s Adulthood? Efusjon has had a crazy year full of ups and downs. It came on strong; growing like wildfire in it\’s pre-launch phase all the way until their fateful \”Facebook Application Launch\” in July of 2009. Then SCREEEEEEECH! (That was the sound of the brakes on Efusjon\’s skyrocket to the top of the MLM game). For months, Efusjon distributors had been touting the release of this Efusjon Facebook Application as the second coming…something that had \”never been done before in MLM\”. Many distributors were telling their prospects that this application was going to \”flood their matrix\” with new distributors.
Even though Efusjon corporate didn\’t sanction this strategy, it sure was funny that they let it go on for as long as it did. And of course the FB launch never lived up to it\’s hype. No Efusjon Distributor had a matrix bursting with new reps from the application. Not a super app…merely an ordinary FB app. With such strong hype, they were destined to fall and fall hard…which they did. Ah, sigh.
The Efusjon Energy Club Comp Plan. This started out to be a quite a well-paying comp plan, with a maxtrix configuration and a large overlap volume commission. Basically, the company requires a distributor to enroll three more distributors in order to start earning commissions. While this is still true, the amount you earn and the way you earn commission has changed multiple times in the past 12 months.
A lot of Efusjon Reps lost their 4.5% commission on overlap sales when Efusjon changed this policy, even though they swore they\’d never do so. In fact, they cut them down to 1.25%. Efusjon distributors, once a healthy earning bunch, were now running for the hills.
In fact, Efusjon has since changed their comp plan several more times to try to recoup–upping the overlap to 1.5%, then again to 2.25%, adding various bonus possibilities and other incentives. Sadly, that recoup hasn\’t yet happened.
Does the Efusjon Energy Club Have the Will to Survive? Since the July 2009 FB monstrosity, you can barely find Efusjon on Alexa.com anymore. If you don\’t know what Alexa does, it ranks websites by web traffic. So, if your MLM has no Alexa score, start pressing your funeral suit now. If, however, your MLM makes it into Alexa.com\’s top 100,000, you\’ve got a great opportunity on your hands.
Poor Efusjon. It\’s been gone from that top 100,000 for ages now.
Hmmm. I wonder what that means?
Well, what it tells me is that Efusjon is either suffering from the bumps and bruises of their first year of life and will dust themselves off and start gaining again, or they\’re toast. Trust your gut. If you love the product and want to take a flyer with a fledgling company that\’s had both super highs and major bumps, go for it.
Break In Case Of Emergency…Make sure you have a Plan B in place. But the most vital thing you need for your Efusjon business (or any MLM) is killer marketing skills.
