Are you aware that is extremely important to your website that it has the correct domain name. Search engines will rank your website alot higher if your domain is relevant to your websites content. Choosing the wrong one can penalise your rankings.

To find a good domain name with your keyword included can be tough, especially for popular extentions but you always have other extensions available that could provide results just as good. Domain auctions can also offer you a more costly way of aquiring your desired domain.

Before you register a domain do some quick research on what topic is popular within your market that you may want to target. Then try and register a domain name that includes the keyword within it as this helps alot with the rankings on all search engines.

Choosing the main keyword to target would be a waste of time unless you are an seo specialist with thousands of dollars to burn. I prefer to choose two, three or four word keywords depending on the popularity as this would be easier to rank for.

Just type in your main subject within the tool and see what keywords are popular. Like i say, two to three word keywords are the ones to target or even four letter words if popular enough.

To make it easier for you to find an available domain with your chosen keyword all you have to do is place your initials then a hyphen and your keyword. For example, my initials are JH and the market i wish to target is golf gloves so i could register a domain like JH-golf-gloves.com . Easy right.

By having your keyword within your domain you will have an advantage over smaller competition and if you market your website right you will rank alot higher and faster if the domain contains the keyword. Its a great thing to know dont you think.

It is a well known fact that search engines rank websites higher that have their keyword included within the domain as it is relevant to the search. Just make sure that your content on your homepage is also optimised for your chosen keyword. Unique content is the key and dont stuff too many of the same keywords together.
